Yes! As part of our first class customer service we arrive on site at delivery and spend a day training you and your staff on the operation of your vehicle and equipment. We develop a thorough training manual and checklist for your team and will not leave until you are comfortable with every aspect of your Food Truck.
Time varies depending on your build-out needs. We furnish weekly updates with pictures so you can see the progress.
Our decades of experience and dedication to quality innovative products defines On The Move. Typically we use between 18’ and 22’ Ford F-59 step-vans which have been modified by Morgan Olsen to be better suited for Food Truck usage with thicker walls and ceilings and wider bodies, the F-59 Foundation Model is ideally suited for operating a Food Truck. In addition to the Step Vans, we like to use a Ford F-550 chassis when fabricating a kitchen and housing from the ground up. Think of one with the shell (F-59) and one without (F-550). We recently added a Tear Drop Trailer to our product line.

The statistics are clear. 80% of first time food truck operators who buy a used truck to save on upfront costs go out of business in the first two years due to unforeseen maintenance expenses. If you have budgetary issues and have found a used truck you would like to put into service, a quality manufacturer should still be contracted to do the retrofitting and help you get as much service life out of the vehicle.
Your first priority when searching for a company to build your food truck is ascertaining the credibility of the manufacturer. Ask for examples of trucks they have built that align with the type of service you are planning and if they will allow you to contact their past customers for recommendations or testimonials.
